Hike through the Mittag Valley

Description: Start at the Boé aerial tram (Corvara – 1,568 meters above sea-level), where trail no. 28 (beneath the tram) goes through the forest towards Pisciadú until you come to a fork. Take the branch posted for "Mittagstal." This trail (no. 651) will lead you to the opening of the Mittag Valley. At the altitude of Dent de Mezdi, trail no. 651 crosses trail no. 676, which leads to the Pisciadú Hut. If you continue to the south, you will come to challenging, steep walls equipped with fixed cables and which are usually covered with snow and ice. From the high-altitude plateau at the foot of the Col Toronn, continue along trail no. 647 (easy) to the Boè – Bamberger Hut. The return trip proceeds down via Val Setus no. 666 towards the Grödner / Gardena Pass, where you will head back to Kolfuschg and Corvara (trail no. 651, which merges with trail no. 28.)
