Hike to Grödner / Gardena Pass

Drive by car to Kolfuschg and park at the parking lot in front of the old church. Hike: From the village square of Kolfuschg (1,645 meters above sea-level,) proceed downhill along the street and take trail no. 645 towards the Pisciadú waterfalls, at the foot of the Mittag Valley. A slightly uphill trail passing through the meadows will lead you to the Grödner/Gardena Pass. Here, you should cross the street and continue on the gravel trail, to the right of the chairlift (sign reading "Colfosco - Edelweisstal") and past the Gimmi Hut. This trail will take you to the Salvan Spring. After you've ascended about half way, in the Rü Meadows, you will find the start of the downward path to the villages of Rön and Pecei. From there, you can continue along the footpath to the village center of Kolfuschg.
