Hike along the Jäger Trail

Description: Start at the Sport Hotel Panorama (1,698 meters above sea-level) and proceed towards Col Alto, on past the Arlara aerial cableway. Take trail no. 22 until you come to the first sharp left curve and arrive at a fork in the path which leads via the golf course and a beautiful view of Corvara and the Sellastock, and on towards the Neger Hut. When you reach the golf course, proceed along the right. When you come to the Neger Hut, go to the right, taking trail no. 24 towards Pralangiá, the Marmotta Hut. Continue until you reach the Marmotta Hut, where you will arrive at the next intersection. Here, take a right turn towards the forest (Jäger trail no. 3.) To the right of the Marmotta hut, there is the Punta Trieste Hut, which can be easily reached. There is also one of the most-beautiful outlook points on the Longingly. From the high-altitude plateau at the foot of the Pralongiá, you can reach the fork in the trail in the middle of a meadow without any difficulty. 1. The right-hand branch will lead you towards Cherz via a somewhat bumpy and steep trail uphill. 2. The middle branch will take you towards Campolongo Pass. These first two alternatives will both take you back to the Campolongo Pass from where you can return by proceeding slightly above the Cherz ski slope (signage is not very clear; take the small trail in the midst of the slope), continuing towards Planac through a forest trail or trail no. 26A, back to the golf course. 3. A faster alternative is to go to the intersection in the middle of the meadow and turn to the right, towards Planac, passing by the golf course. Once you reach the golf course, you can take a hiking trail which circles around until you come to a free-standing house where a hiking trail branches off to the right towards the Sport Hotel Panorama.
